WHAT IF WE NEED MORE OR LESS HOURS THAN WHAT IS OFFERED?
The minimum number of hours for a wedding is four and the maximum is eight. I do understand every wedding is different, so you can customize any of my packages to your needs. Email me and lets figure out the best coverage you need for your day!
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Of course! To book your date, there is a 30% non-refundable retainer that must be paid to reserve your date. All payment is due three weeks before your wedding date. After that we can work out any payment plan to your needs!
WHEN WILL WE GET OUR PHOTOS BACK?
My current turn around times for weddings is 30 days and for all other sessions, you can expect them within 14 days. I usually send out sneak peaks within 72 hours for both weddings and sessions. If you don’t see them within that time, you’ll see them within a week at most. If you need them before my typical times, please email me and we can work something out.
HOW SHOULD WE DRESS FOR OUR SESSION?
Always wear something you’re comfortable in, as well as something that fits the location, weather and occasion. Try to steer clear of any loud patterns or bright colors, and go for textures and solid colors. A good rule of thumb is to stick with three colors at most, two neutrals and a color to go with. (all neutrals are just fine as well!) I’m always willing to help with choosing outfits, so if you need help or are unsure with what to wear, email me and we can discuss all the choices!
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
Absolutely! I’m always so happy to travel to wherever your wedding is taking place. Depending on the distance from the Treasure Valley an overnight stay might be required. I don’t ever want to risk missing your wedding day, I would be mortified.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL?
If you’re event is within an hour of where I live, then your travel is covered. Anywhere outside an hour can be subject to travel fees. Because your wedding date is so important to me, I eliminate as much risk as possible and only fly with major airlines, arriving at every destination one to two days in advance. For weddings I can reasonably travel to within the same day, I will travel the same day, by car, making sure to arrive about an hour before i’m supposed to arrive so there’s no chance of me being late.
DO YOU HAVE A BACKUP PLAN IN CASE OF EMERGENCY OR ILLNESS?
Absolutely! I never want to leave you without someone to capture your special day. I will do whatever I can to find a backup photographer that shoots in the same style I do. Then after the wedding, I’ll have them transfer the photos to me so you’ll still get the same editing style you paid for with me.
WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON RESCHEDULING OR CANCELATIONS?
Unfortunately, I don’t allow cancelations on weddings, as I have that date saved for you and would have to turn away other clients wanting to book that day. For regular sessions, you can cancel up to a week before hand. I do have a 30% non-refundable retainer. However, I do allow you to reschedule up to 24 hours before your session with no additional fees. If the weather doesn’t permit the day of, we can always reschedule for a better day. (I’m always down for a rainy day session though.) I do understand unforeseen circumstances can happen, so please email me so we can discuss further. Photos are supposed to be fun and I don’t want them to ever be an additional stress.
